Neurologist Athanasia Alexoudis in Ilisia with expertise in movement disorders and the application of Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) in N. Parkinson’s, dystonia and tremor. Athanasia Alexoudi was born in Athens and graduated from the Department of Medicine of the National Kapodistrian University of Athens. She is a neurologist specialist in Movement Disorders, PhD and academic fellow at the University of Athens, in the Department of Functional Neurosurgery at the Evangelismos Hospital. He participates in the surgical treatment of Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders, pain as well as in research studies of the department concerning neuromodulation. He was educated in Greece and Germany.
