The conservator of hagiographies in Argos, Tsairis Periandros, has an uninterrupted history of 125 years behind him. It was started by his grandfather (1892), continued by his father. Tsairis Alexandros and since 1994 Periandros has taken over and provides soulful work in church restorations.

The long-term occupation and specialization in this area, combined with the excellent quality of the materials he uses, has resulted in his recognition in his industry.

The cleaning and maintenance of the hagiographies is done with specialized chemical materials which do not alter or damage the elements of the hagiographies. The restoration and decoration are done in wooden, plaster and marble temples and if requested, they are gilded with foil
